- Peer Review Manipulation: Attempting to influence the review process, such as suggesting biased reviewers or falsifying review reports.
How We Address Misconduct
- Detection: All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools and editorial oversight to identify potential issues.
- Investigation: Allegations of misconduct are thoroughly investigated by the editorial board, ensuring fairness and confidentiality. Evidence from authors, reviewers, or third parties may be requested.
- Resolution: Depending on the severity, actions may include:
- Rejection of the manuscript.
- Retraction of published articles with a public notice.
- Notification to the author’s institution or funding body.
- Temporary or permanent bans on future submissions from offending parties.
Reporting Misconduct
